Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Manali to Jobra Base Camp
Drive from Manali to Jobra (3,300m) through pine forests. Set up camp, acclimatisation walk along the Rani Nala stream in the evening.
Day 2
Jobra to Balu ka Ghera
Trek through stunning oak and pine forests following the Rani Nala to the beautiful alpine meadow of Balu ka Ghera (3,600m). Overnight camp.
Day 3
Hampta Pass Crossing
The highlight u2014 steep climb to Hampta Pass (4,270m) with 360u00b0 Himalayan panoramas. Descend into the lunar landscape of Lahaul Valley to Shea Goru camp.
Day 4
Shea Goru to Chatru
Trek through the dramatic, barren Lahaul landscape following the Chandra River. Camp at Chatru on the banks of the Chandra.
Day 5
Chandratal Lake & Return
Optional excursion to the stunning Chandratal Lake (4,300m). Drive back to Manali via Rohtang Pass. End of trek.
